Terrahawks: Expect the Unexpected!

Celebrating 30 years of Terrahawks

Expect the UnexpectedOn Saturday 8th October 1983 the latest Gerry Anderson creation hit the UK’s television screens. With a new production team in place, Anderson-Burr’s much-anticipated Terrahawks brought us a new type of puppetry – Supermacromation – and a new generation of fans were introduced to the wonderful, fantastical worlds of Gerry Anderson.

Now, thirty years later, we plan to celebrate this milestone in style at the Holiday Inn hotel, Maidenhead – just up the road from Bray Studios, where Terrahawks was made.

Everyone can join in!

Expect the Unexpected

Fans have told us that, whilst we all like to get together every so often, budgets are tight at the moment. So, this will be a one-day event rather than a full-weekend convention, and we hope that even those on a tight budget can join in. It’ll be the perfect occasion to catch up with friends you have made through Fanderson over the years and meet new ones.

A taster of what to expect…

  • Terrahawks episodes, especially remastered for Fanderson in high definition (HD)
  • self-guided Anderson filming locations tour
  • amazing prize raffle

We also have an incredible range of special guests connected with the making of Terrahawks and other Anderson shows, including:

  • Steven Begg - Special Effects Director
  • John Lee - Terrahawks Modelmaker
  • Judy Preece - Terrahawks Puppeteer
  • Steven Woodcock - Terrahawks Modelmaker
  • Gary Tomkins – Terrahawks Art Director
  • Terry Adlam – Terrahawks Special Effects Technician
