I remember the one from 2010 was good fun, so I'd be up for that...

Perhaps we could get the Spectrum band to reform and play a set. A sixties set would be good theme.

Smile Disco Yes Please.

I love the Fanderson discos and have been saddened that they have not happened for the last couple of events. Not to say that I have not enjoyed Nick's fabulous quizzes. We could have both. Perhaps a slightly shorter quiz without the meal followed by a great disco. with lots of vintage TV visuals.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the overwhelming feedback at The Future Is Fantastic! was that a meal, a quiz and then to retire to the bar for conversation well into the night was preferred to a disco.

We're planning to follow that model again for the Saturday night at Special Assignment (albeit with a quiz that is less fiendish, and therefore more enjoyable!), with a celebration of Scarlet's 50th anniversary on the Friday evening.

Our next committee meeting is on 5th August, when we'll be starting to firm up our plans.

Nick

Oh well,at least lets try to keep the duration of the quiz this time to under 15 hours?
The last one felt like we we all being sucked into Victor Bergmans Black Sun V...E....R...Y........S...L.....O...W.....L....... ......Y?
I would use a smiley emoticon at this point, but I cant stand em.

If that is what the majority would like that is fine by me. After all I ain't done so badly in the quizzes in the past.

We listen and learn, Nick. I was genuinely shocked that the TFIF! quiz was too difficult. This time it'll be more like Screen Test (for those of us old enough to remember).

Smile Screen Test

Will we have the theme music and Michael Rod. Nick's quizzes a little too long? maybe, but then good quizzes which involve a great deal of work usually are.
