At the moment we are still finalising details such as the schedule for the day. If any model makers or traders would like to have a table for the event, please message me here

The Convention website will be available shortly, with further information.

Ltcdr. Looking forward to seeing friends on the day!
Thanks for the update.

Dave

A big thank you for organising this event. It was a lovely day and went by far too quickly. The day was packed with events and we had no downtime hanging around waiting for the next one. I am only sorry that we had to miss Gary Raymond's talk to grab some lunch. It very much felt like an old style convention, where you didn't feel you were being fleeced at every turn. The stewards could do with a slap on the back too as when we needed to ask questions, they were all approachable and not at all condescending, or rude as some have been at other events that I have attended. I very much hope the event was a success for you and that a second con will be forthcoming next year.

Thank you Dave! It was a lot of work, but it was certainly worthwhile. There will be a professionally produced dvd of the event on sale later. Details will be on the SHADO CON facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/193639827729342/

Our sincere thanks also to Fanderson for their generous donations towards the charity raffle and the Convention 'goody-bags'.

It WAS brill wasn't it! I didn't win anything in the raffle, but I got to sit next to Gary Raymond (twice!) The guests were wonderful - and it was great to be among other fans of this rather 'cult' series. I was very privileged to be one of the committee members who got SHADO CON up and running.

Well done. Despite having been invited to attend (by S.H.), circumstances were against it in the end. I have received some reports from one or two people who went and it all seemed to go well - even the Aliens didn't manage to interfere with the priority communication that was beamed all the way from S.H.A.D.O. HQ, Australia! I believe the Alien Installation was detected and destroyed before it could do any real harm!

Would have liked to have met Colonel Grey, but there we are. Maybe next time...?
