Default Barry Gray's BOAC

Hey guys,

Ever since hearing BOAC on the Barry Gray jingles CD, I have been curious to see the promo it was made for.

Has anyone seen this, or have a copy?

Thanks!

Default Stand by for Adverts

I produced the Stand by for Adverts CD and did A LOT of research trying to find the commercials and short films the music was written for. I only found one! That was the commercial for ESSO.

If anyone ever finds anything do please let me know.

Cheers,

Ralph

While people are out looking for things, could you keep an eye open for the Blue Cars commercials as well? I've long been curious to see those.

Getting back on topic, is the ESSO commercial online somewhere?

Perhaps not ... It is a dangerous thing ... I haven't listened to my Stand By for Adverts CD in a while because I'd wake up at 3am with the jingles still running relentlessly though my head.

The ESSO sign means Happy Motoring!

I had to buy the Esso commercial on a DVD, likewise one of the Blue Cars commercials. Not cheap either!! I seem to remember around 40+.

Ralph.

.... and last night I woke at 2.45 with "The ESSO sign means Happy Motoring! The ESSO sign means Happy Motoring! The ESSO sign means Happy Motoring! Call at the ESSO sign! Yeah!" going through my head.

Infectious!! Unstopable!!

I believe the BOAC film was called Jet Flight - Miami
made in 1963 A travel film about the Bahamas and Miami, two ports of call on the B.O.A.C./Cunard flight by Boeing 707 Jet

don't know if that helps to track it down ?

however I believe a copy does reside with the BFI
