Default ANDERCON in Jame's own words

Jamie Anderson was interviewed for FAB magazine issue 76 and this is how he described it.

Finally, what can you tell us about Andercon? What can we expect to be enjoying next April in Heathrow?

It will be fantastic! We've got suchan exciting guest list... I can't wait. We're hoping that Arthur Provis, David Graham and David Elliott will do an ‘early days’ talk/Q&A which should be pretty fascinating.

We've got a whole bunch of fantastic (working) set replicas – including a replica Dexion puppeteers' bridge, and rolling road. A large ‘Lost Worlds of Gerry Anderson’ area which will display various artwork, designs etc. from unseen, unmade, or forgotten Anderson concepts like Starcruiser, Intergalactic Rescue 4, Five Star Five and many more. The unveiling of the replica of Straker's car by Sean Robinson, and some fantastic workshops from how to build epic Lego Anderson craft, to writers workshops, and comic strip artist sessions too. There's more to be announced too! Keep an eye on:

Does anyone know if there will be any kind of Skype type live online link up so people who can't attend will be able to look in and participate in some way online? I sent Jamie a message asking him this a few weeks ago, and he said it was one of the things being looked into, but I've heard nothing about it since. Anyone heard anything?

Default Fanderson Involvement

Just wondered if Fanderson were involved in any way with helping out at Andercon?

I believe Fanderson may have a table at Andercon as it will at Cosford and has provided material or promoted the event where required. However, Fanderson is a fan club run by volunteers in their spare time and to get involved in this to any real degree would be to the detriment of services provided to members.

The latest story on Andercon is here:-
