Default Gerry Anderson - The Films

I was thinking the other day did any of the Gerry Anderson films really matter? Crossroads to Crime, TB are GO, TB6 and Doppleganger? Crossroads is easily - dismissed. I loved TB because of the series and although I think the music from the TB films are great I don't think the films add much to the brilliance of the episodes really. I swap both TB films for a handful of episodes but I'd have to have a Zero X in at least one ;-)

Perhaps Doppleganger is the hidden jewel - where would UFO and then Space:1999 be without it?

Perhaps you could argue that the Super Space Theatre films had a bigger impact that some of original movies?

Thunderbird Six was one of my favourites as a kid, due to the incredible music and Brains in uniform. Never really got into Thunderbirds Are Go, but I love the TB launch and dream sequences. Doppelganger is great, but never seen Crossroads. Is it availible to view anywhere online?

Thunderbirds Are Go is the pinnacle of Gerry's filmmaking for me, because it showed that his creations were worthy of recognition on the big screen . I'm sure he must be incredibily proud of that.

I just watched Thunderbirds Are Go last night before I start on Captain Scarlet (I am going in order of projects). I enjoyed it so much more since I have seen the series!

Crossroads to Crime is at the Top of my Gerry Anderson films. I really enjoyed the music that was played from it on the Beyondophonic Action Hour Barry Gray Special.
