Good to see that Jamie Anderson included mention of FAB 86 and a link to Fanderson in his latest weekly gerryanderson.co.uk email update.

Received the CS Close-up book with FAB 86.Noticed that Flight to Atlantica is the episode before Noose of Ice, but on the Carlton DVD, Flight to Atlantica is 5 episodes later.

Did Carlton mix up the episodes? Or is the closeup book in production order rather than broadcast order?

Keith

Interesting article on a film I had never heard of - Crossplot.

However I think the photos on page 12 (first page of the article) which refer to Martha Hyer are in fact of Claudie Lange

Even more so now with the recent passing of Sir Roger Moore.

Yeah. I was very sad to see that Roger Moore had died. He had a great life and I have yet to hear anyone say anything but good things about him as a person (as opposed to an 'actor'). Sad because I absolutely loved The Persuaders! when I was a kid and the first James Bond film I ever saw was Live and Let Die, at the cinema in 1973. When someone like this dies (as with Gerry Anderson, Ed Bishop, etc...) it feels like a link to your past has been severed. I read his autobiography a few years ago and more recently managed to get to see him during his theatre tour.

In my imagination I like to think that 'Danny Wilde' was waiting for him at the Pearly Gates with nice 'Creole Scream'. With ONE olive!!!

RIP Sir. You brightened up many lives.

I think Carlton put the episodes in broadcast order instead of production, like they did with Thunderbirds, and how Shout Factory did with Stingray.
