Default Fab 81

Hi everyone, just wondering are there any updates regarding the latest issue FAB 81? Has anyone recieved their issue yet or has it yet to be posted?

Thanks

Jack

Hi Jack.

Sorry to say that there's been an unavoidable delay in getting FAB finished, but it should be posted within the coming week. As usual, as soon as it's in the post there'll be a news story on the website to announce its imminence.

Please accept our apologies that this issue is a few weeks later than we'd planned. It's the first time (if I recall correctly) since the current team took control of the club that FAB has been mailed late.

Unfortunately, our extremely talented FAB team of designer Mike Jones and writer Ian Fryer have been working on quite a few wonderful non-club projects and these have taken priority on this occasion. One is Madman's Journey To The Far Side Of The Sun Blu-ray Disc release, and others are yet to become public knowledge.....

My issue 81 arrived today too along with the Thunderbirds book which looks great.
A cursory browse looks good and the extensive look at UFO makes up for too many pages wasted on Thunderbirds Are Go

How did I know you'd pop up to mention it? I'm starting to think you must have shares in the production.
I get FAB to read about Gerry Anderson productions - nothing more.
But lets not argue the point again.
If it turns up too much in the next 2 issues I will make my feelings known in the only way I can

I must add to this - I noticed pages in this issue dedicated to Thunderbirds Are Go - like phelings I have the FAB magazine to read about the works of Gerry Anderson. Any more mention of TAG and I will not be renewing my subscription.

Well no, but it did take ages to write, so it's slightly hurtful to think it was a waste.

Well that's just the first half of the guide, you should probably wait until the inevitable second half of it appears. I mean it's still a version of Thunderbirds after all, it's the reason most people became Anderson fans. Not featuring it would be akin to not featuring anything post William Hartnell's Doctor Who as it wasn't produced by Verity Lambert or not featuring any of the Star Trek series made after Gene Roddenberry's death.
