Mac’s Car / Jet Air Car

The length stated is for the car in its flight mode – with the tail fins extended (the land-based configuration is shorter). There are several scenes when we see Mac’s car with figures standing nearby (a manned security checkpoint in Talkdown and with several figures in The Race). Both episodes have been used to determine the scale accordingly to a 6ft human.

No speed is given in the show. The top speed given by a ‘Tech Talk’ fan video for flight mode seems reasonable within the world of the show.
FAB Factor
This vehicle is unique. It has the ability travel on land and in the air, and transition while in motion. It can on rare occasions also take off vertically (The Race).
Year
There is not a date shown on screen, or directly spoken about. But in The Unorthodox Shepherd the story refers to a robbery that took place 17 years previously. In solving the mystery, we learn that the stolen property was smuggled back into the country in a coffin and the gravestone indicates that date, 17 years prior to the episode.
Sam Loover’s Car

No dimensions are given in the show. Having established the size of Mac’s Car, and comparing shots showing both vehicles, as well as referencing the driver visible in certain shots, the size has been determined.

No weaponry is ever seen or discussed.
Speed
No speed is given. It appears to be a commercially available car with no additional features or enhancements being discussed. The speed given is estimated based on the quite realistic world of Joe 90 and is in line with high performance cars of the day.
FAB Factor
The car appears to be standard car of the era. It has no special features and is not used in any significant part of a key mission. It’s a cool looking car. But nothing more.

F-116 Experimental Fighter
Length
There is a good view of the F116 in profile with Mac’s car next to it. Using the size of Mac’s car the length has been calculated.

As an experimental plane, it has no weaponry.
Speed
During the tests, the top speed of the plane is stated by officials.
FAB Factor
This is a prototype of a high performance fighter plane. As such it has value but as it is only a prototype we do not know the impact of the fighter in operation.
