39 The Fire Fighters

Blazing fireballs originating from a strange space cloud are crashing to Earth, the latest setting fire to a forest in Canada and the Hall of Justice in Brazil. The XL5 crew are sent to analyse the gas cloud which scientists believe is igniting as it comes into contact with oxygen, but the gas sets fire to XL5’s tail section. After putting out the blaze, the crew return to Space City where Steve proposes using an old satellite, Skyball 1, to collect  the gas cloud and detonate it in space before it can enter Earth’s atmosphere. Matt starts work on the necessary modifications, but then a fireball is spotted heading directly for Space City and Venus’s beach house!
