PROJECT FORD and UFORIA 3: ALIENS ATTACK – Part 1
The UFO 55th Anniversary Celebration and Location Tour
31st October to 2nd November 2025
Join fellow Anderson fans for a convention and filming location tour celebrating the work of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson.
Our special guests for this event are Keith Alexander (in person!) the voice of John Tracy in Thunderbird 6, Sam Loover in Joe 90 and Lieutenant Keith Ford in UFO, puppet supervisor Mary Turner and UFO‘s Ayshea Brough.
- Friday 31st October 18:30-22:00
The event starts on Friday evening, celebrating ‘Thunderbirds at 60’ with the last of the Tracy brothers, featuring Keith Alexander and Mary Turner.
- Saturday 9:00-15:00, then 17:00-22:00
On Saturday there will be a full day coach tour of filming locations used in UFO in the Pinewood area. The coach will depart promptly at 9:00!
We’ll be joined by one of UFO‘s featured artists during the tour, at a very special location. We don’t want to give too much away as we want to delegates to be surprised, but we’re sure everyone coming to Project Ford will be thrilled!
There will be a short break during the tour, but at what time and for how long will depend on how well we’re getting around the locations. There may be a chance to grab something along the way but we really recommend taking a packed lunch so you can eat en route!
Then in the evening it’s an evening with Ford and fellow SHADO operatives.
- Sunday 10:00-17:00 (buffet lunch 12:00-13:00), then 19:00-22:00
Sunday is a full day at Moor Hall continuing our 55th anniversary celebration of UFO with a rare special film presentation by Keith Alexander, Q&A, Ayshea Brough guest panel, autograph signings, photo opportunities with guests and a preview of UFORIA 3 part 2 event. There will also be a fun quiz and an auction for a small piece of UFO memorabilia!
There will be a stall selling collectable memorabilia from all of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s productions, and a Fanderson Sales table with a selection of items from our wide range at special prices (as no need for postage and packing). We’ll be able to take cash or card payments.
We’ll have the six wheeled SHADO jeep, and there will be a limited first come, first served ride and photo opportunities in the jeep with one of the original UFO cast! There will be a display of original models and scratch-built exclusive replicas from UFO. We’ll also have a display of Corgi’s range of die-cast models and an exclusive raffle to win one of the new Thunderbirds models.
The evening will feature a special appearance of the voice of Topo Gigio – the last performance!
- All times are approximate, apart from the prompt 9:00am departure of the coach on Saturday morning.
- All attendees will receive an event programme, a souvenir badge and a goodie bag, plus a buffet for Sunday lunch.
