1964 – It is reported in the press that in late 1962 Associated Television (A.T.V.) purchased the share capital of the A.P.Films group of companies

1968 – The Evening Post reports that Fab 1 and Lady Penelope (in human form) failed to arrive on time at The Paignton Festival Hall to raise money for Help The Aged. The back axle of Fab 1 broke and Lady Penelope finally arrived by sports car with Fab 1 arriving later towed in on the back of a trailer
