DangerZone Productions, in association with Fanderson, presents

PROJECT JOHNSON

(UFOria 3 part 2)

The UFO 55th Anniversary Celebration and Location Tour

29th-31st May 2026

Join fellow Anderson fans for a convention and UFO filming location tour celebrating the work of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. Whereas Project Ford focussed on the area around Pinewood Studios, Project Johnson will take us to the locations from UFO first filming block, around Borehamwood.

UFO‘s very own Lieutenant Johnson, Ayshea Brough, has confirmed she’ll be our guest of honour for the event. Ayshea was incredibly popular at part 1 this October, so she’ll have more time to tell her stories about working on UFO, and beyond!

Of course, other guests are being invited and will be announced in due course as they confirm.

Detailed plans for the event are still being formed, but we have been asked by our hosts at Moor Hall to confirm attendance as quickly as possible so they can hold the rooms for us. As anyone who’s been to either Hole In One or Project Ford will know, the team like to surprise everyone, so you can be sure of a great weekend.

Guests

We’re hoping that more guests will be able to join us during the weekend. But, at the moment, as well as guest of honour Ayshea Brough you can expect to spend time with John Levene (Interceptor Pilot, Close Up), Gary Raymond (Colonel Grey, The Man Who Came Back), Alan Shubrook (special effects assistant and model maker) and Penny Spencer (SHADO Operative Janis).

Registration

We’ve held the Registration price for the weekend the same as for Project Ford – the weekend costs £140 for Fanderson members, or £160 for non-members (the small premium is to cover their Fanderson membership for the event). Registered carers for people also registered can be included at a special rate.

Be sure to include the names of everyone in your party, noting their full names in the Notes field when you checkout.

Registration closes on 1st May 2026.

Places are limited to just 66 due to coach capacity, so register your place(s) now.

Accommodation

The event is taking place at Moor Hall, Cookham SL6 9QH (previously home to Gaumont British Animation Studios) where we have arranged bed and breakfast accommodation at the same price as for Project Ford, providing you book immediately – just £80 (single) or £90 (double) per night (sorry no twin rooms).

Email events@cim.co.uk with your accommodation request (don’t forget to say you’re attending Project Johnson/UFOria3 to get the special room rate) and a phone number so that Moor Hall’s events team can call you back to confirm your booking and take your card details over the phone to secure the booking. You will then be emailed a confirmation once the booking has been made.

Please do not contact Moor Hall reception, as these bedrooms are being managed by their events team.
