Am I the only one who can’t get excited about this new Network release?
As much as I loved the Fanderson book on the SST films I can’t get excited about watching them in this day and age beyond a browse for nostalgia so £40 for 4 Space 1999 films of which we already have 99% of the content is of little interest. I’d pay £20 for the nostalgia but there seems to be little in the way of extras either.
It’s a nice idea but while I got the Destination Moonbase Alpha Bluray and Invasion UFO (for reduced prices) I think the best way to see these is how they are presented on the Aussie boxset. In standard def poor quality with blurry images and mono sound. If we want to see them properly we have the Blurays.
Stingray is presumably the last of the 3 remaining shows Network have to release on Bluray and I would have preferred that.
£20 in a sale though and I’ll bow to completeness
