Fireball XL5 soundtrack CD, vinyl and 7″ single from Silva Screen

Taken from their upcoming Fireball XL5 album, Silva Screen have released a teaser 7″ single in transparent orange vinyl!

The disc features two tracks from the upcoming album: Fireball (Don Spencer and the XL5) on side 1 is accompanied by Zero G (Barry Gray and his Spacemakers) on side 2. Don Spencer’s original 7” single release on His Masters Voice in 1962 reached number 32, remaining in the UK charts for twelve weeks (the original B side was another Don Spencer track, I’m All Alone Again, replaced on this release with Zero G).

The full soundtrack album follows in January, and you can pre-order it on CD or transparent orange vinyl right now! Produced in association with Fanderson, the album has 61 minutes of diverse tracks that give a flavour of Fireball XL5 and show Barry Gray’s musical ingenuity.

You can find a link to the Fireball single, along with lots from other Anderson productions, in our new non-club merchandise section.

Support Lego Ideas Thunderbird 2!

In 2019, thousands of club members and fans supported Andrew Clark’s Lego Ideas project. Sadly, though it reached the 10,000 supporters to be included in the official review by Lego, it wasn’t selected to become a set that we could all buy.

Now, Andrew has re-worked his project to ditch the interchangeable Thunderbirds/Thunderbirds Are Go elements to be solely the classic Thunderbird 2 from the Thunderbirds TV series. Read more and pledge your support now by clicking here.

Lego Ideas was set up so that budding Lego set designers could see their design made into sets that we could all buy. Fans can click to support the designs they like and, if a project gets over 10,000 supporters, it goes on to be assessed by the Lego team as a potential set.

Since Lego Ideas was set up in 2010 (as Lego Cuusoo), 35 sets have been produced on a wide range of topics. Andrew Clark has been luckier than most budding designers, as his Doctor Who and The Flintstones sets were both chosen to become reality.

You can see more Anderson designs on the Lego Ideas site.

And coming soon, to accompany their previous Captain Scarlet figure will be Adam Svenson himself – Captain Blue!

Celebrate 50 years of UFO!

What better way to celebrate 50 years of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s groundbreaking series UFO than with a great read – the long-awaited UFO Annual 1972!

Like most Anderson series there was a UFO Annual produced to accompany the broadcasts, but just the one volume for 1971. Exclusive to Fanderson is this follow-up book, full of features about the series and SHADO, two brand new stories starring your favourite UFO characters and three new exclusive cutaways.

Whilst reading the Annual, why not relax with Barry Gray’s cool soundtrack, courtesy of our 4-CD boxset. And we’ve got lots of other UFO items in the Shop too!

We’re expecting stock of the UFO Annual 1972 in time for the series’ 50th anniversary on 16th September 2020, and you can sure to be among the first to get your copy by pre-ordering from 1st September.

That’s not Captain Scarlet. That’s Thunderbirds!

We honestly thought we’d sold our last copy of the 4CD Thunderbirds soundtrack boxset at our Supercelebration convention last year.

So, you can imagine Fanderson Sales’ supremo Stephen Brown’s surprise when, during a bit of lockdown housekeeping at our secure storage unit, he found that a box marked Captain Scarlet CDs actually had Thunderbirds inside! This find means that just 40 lucky club members who were unable to get the album before will now get another chance!

To give anyone who’s interested the chance to hear this great news and count their shekels beforehand, we’ll set them live in the Fanderson Shop on Saturday. Prices will be £39.75 UK, £43.50 Europe, £45.75 rest of the world.

Orders will be restricted to just one copy per member.

We can’t give an exact time, but it will around lunchtime in the UK. And this time, when they’re gone, they’re gone. Honest!

The UFOs are landing!

Fanderson members are reporting sightings of UFOs. That is, the club’s new 4-CD UFO soundtrack album, which is now being delivered to members!

We started taking pre-orders for the set from 1st March and, in under a month, 25% of our stock has already been bought. Like all club merchandise, the UFO soundtrack is a limited edition so when it’s gone, it’s gone!

We regularly get emails from members saying “I wish I’d bought your Space:1999 Year One or Thunderbirds soundtrack or “I wish I’d met Gerry or Sylvia Anderson at one of your conventions”, but now it’s too late. Don’t be one of those ‘I wish…’ people and chance missing out on the UFO soundtrack – buy yours today!

Please note that in the current situation we’re dispatching orders as postal services are still operating, though it may take longer than usual for your package to arrive.
